History has shown us that governments cannot run a country alone. They need the people on the ground ( you and me ) to work together to being about sustainable development. The way forward for Africa is on TWO fronts - gender equality. Africa needs to understand that women need to be given the respect they deserve. They need to be active in politics so that they are involved in decision making. Secondly - there needs to be more focus on social capital. We as Africans MUST start to be proactive, we need to get together and discuss OUR challenges / opportunities and find ways to solve these issues. Africa is OURS - we have millions of eduated africans all over - lets use this to make africa the best continent in the world!
